Research into residential care needs and provision for working age veterans. The report was published in November 2015.

A national review of Health Needs Assessments in collaboration with NHS England and Community Innovations Enterprise Ltd to ascertain what is known about Veterans’ mental health and related health needs within those assessments.

Research carried out by Professor Edgar Jones and his team about the transition into civilian life following military service.

A pilot project to provide additional support through transition for those veterans settling in the London area, the evaluation of which was carried out by Cordis Bright.

A pilot project in Wiltshire delivering online support for carers in the Armed Forces Community caring for those with mental health problems.

A grant to fund a piece of research about transition from military to civilian life from the perspective of the family.

The evaluation of an early intervention programme helping veterans who are arrested in Norfolk and Suffolk. The evaluation – which was carried out by Anglia Ruskin University – also included study of this cohort.

Research into the efficacy of the type of support offered by Veterans Outreach Support in Portsmouth.

A pilot project offering support for those veterans settling in Northeast England with mental health issues following transition. Read the launch press release. The pilot project concluded in 2016 with an independent evaluation.

A pilot project, in partnership with Erskine, to run Shoulder to Shoulder, a mentoring programme in Scotland for veterans recovering from mental health issues and their immediate family members.
