The evaluation of an early intervention programme helping veterans who are arrested in Norfolk and Suffolk. The evaluation – which was carried out by Anglia Ruskin University – also included study of this cohort.

Impact

The project was valuable for RFEA who were able to use the lessons from the evaluation of the pilot to develop and grow the Project Nova programme to bring help to veterans who become involved with the criminal justice system.

The results of the evaluation also enabled the project team to secure funding for on-going provision of the programme which now covers 19 counties. Further details on the programme can be found here.
