A 24 hour consultation entitled “Back to Civvy Street: How can we better support individuals to lead more successful civilian lives after a career in the UK Armed Forces?”. Senior participants from the MOD and Government to Military Charity, Employment, and Training sectors, analysed 3 transition-related areas: employment and housing as a route to economic stability; social networks as a form of resilience; and altering public perception that service leavers are damaged individuals.
