University of Salford collaborative project applying trauma-informed lens to veterans' welfare services

This project seeks to improve engagement with support services in the Armed Forces community

This project will examine what the transition process looks like for the Armed Forces Community today.

The Cobseo Housing Cluster, through co-chair Stoll will develop and deliver a campaign to help end veterans’ homelessness. This 15-month project will include; increasing awareness within local authorities, as well as housing and advice agencies, of ex-Service personnel requesting housing support; and developing a more coordinated and collaborative approach throughout the housing and charitable sectors.

A project to examine the impact of the Covenant in reducing disadvantage for the Armed Forces Community and how the work of public sector organizations, under the Covenant, has achieved this.

Sponsorship of the 2021 Working Together Award, an award to honour a person or a group of people, team or organisation that has demonstrated an enduring commitment to a collaborative approach, engaging with others to support the sector within the wider armed forces community.

A grant to support the Veterans Work project. Veterans Work, made-up of leading professional services firm Deloitte, the Armed Forces charity the Officers’ Association and The Forces in Mind Trust , is a consortium of organisations whose collective aim is to improve our understanding of veteran employment.
