Led by Veterans Scotland, Project Mercury aims to improve Scottish Local Authorities’ understanding of their duties and responsibilities under the Armed Forces Covenant to promote the Armed Forces community as an asset to wider Scottish society.

Project Mercury does this by utilising existing research and data, understanding the current challenges and opportunities and providing opportunities to share experience and knowledge. Project Mercury works in partnership to inform statutory bodies and their representatives of their obligations under the Covenant and the ongoing issues faced by the Armed Forces community.
