
Nicholas Lambert
Lay Adviser to the Finance and Investment Committee
Nicholas served with the 5th Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards in the early 1980’s, serving in BAOR, Northern Ireland and in the UK.
Failing his hearing test, he was unable to convert to a regular commission and moved to the City just before Big Bang. He spent 31 years to the day with just two investment firms, Cazenove & Co and Sarasin & Partners, becoming a partner of each. His primary roles was managing investment portfolios for both charities and private clients.
Nicholas is presently undertaking a degree in History and International Relations at the New College of Humanities in London. Additionally he chairs the BraveHerts Board for his local children’s hospice as well as serving on the Hertfordshire ABF Committee.
He is married and has a son and two daughters. Their elder daughter is a captain in the Royal Engineers specialising in EOD and Search.
