She was responsible for the annual procurement of over £100 million of Skills and Learning programmes and has been involved in the procurement and implementation of a range of IT systems to drive efficiency and effectiveness for the public purse.

For the past decade Isobel has been providing interim leadership at CEO level to organisations in the private, public and voluntary sectors, including the Midlands Engine, the UK Government Start Up Loans Company/British Business Bank and was previously the CEO of the Swindon and Wiltshire LEP, responsible for delivery of over £200m of infrastructure development.  Previous experience includes providing consultancy support to a FTSE 100 company contracted to the DWP and business development within the charity sector.  She is currently Head of Government Relations for Equanet, the world’s first video-commerce platform.

Isobel sits on a number of Boards on a voluntary basis where, over the past 11 years, she has raised considerable funds through sleeping rough to prevent youth homelessness in the UK.
