Brady graduated from the University of Greenwich in 2014 and went on to work in the regulatory sector at the General Optical Council, where she gained a Paralegal qualification in Criminal Litigation and worked within the Legal department on fitness-to-practices cases and hearings as well as illegal practice case investigations. Brady then became a Policy and Research Officer for two and a half years at The College of Optometrists, the professional, scientific and examining body for optometry in the United Kingdom, working for the public benefit.

Brady has been working at FiMT since September 2021 as Policy Officer, working closely with the Assistant Head of Policy and Head of Policy.
